In June 2018, I presented some of my early thoughts on data desire, everyday data practices, and their relation to geological chaos and a crisis of representation in the Anthropocene.  I presented this as a talk, Data Desire in Environmental Movements, at IAMCR – the International Association of Media and Communication Research conference.  The talk was part of a panel titled Data, New Media, and the Environment.
